GET AMONGST IT! NYWF SEEKING YOUNG WRITERS ( THATS YOU! )

Like writing?  Like poetry or spoken word, zines or comics?  Think you might have what it takes to be the next hot young thing in the Australian Literary Scene? If only you knew where to start off or had someone to talk to about how awesome you are?

Well then you are in luck my young squires as The National Young Writers Festival is putting a call out to younger writers aged between 16 and 20 to be apart of our Younger Writers Mentorship Program.

Once accepted NYWF with find you a super hot mentor for duration of the festival, (1st-5th October) who will then meet, talk and nut out what it is that you love about writing and where you want to go with your potential writing career.

There will also be specific programs in the festival designed for you to go along to and maybe pick up a few hot skills on the way.  Your mentor will also help you tailor a NYWF experience that will best suit you.

So if you keen to get involved and be exposed to one of the biggest emerging writers festivals in the country then simply email us your details ( name, age, address etc) including up to a 1-page summary about who you are/what you do and why you want you be involved. If you have any previous work you have done then shoot that on through as well…the better we get to know you the better we can find the right mentor for you!

So what are you waiting for? Email youngerwriters.nywf@gmail .com right now to get amongst it all!
