There's no shortage of good accommodation to be had in Newcastle during the festival. Whether it's a hotel, backpackers, friendly drunken local's house or park bench, we can help hook you up with a good night's sleep. Where possible, we provide accommodation for all our writers, artists and other guests. If you're participating, make sure you let us know well in advance when you're coming and we'll sort it. Werd!
In the meantime, check the following sites for accommodation into:
Newcastle City Council tourist info: www.visitnewcastle.com.au
Tent City: a dedicated festival campground right in the city - walking distance, free bus or quick bike ride to the festival venues. Close to shops. Cheap rates. Warm welcome.
Hotel, Motel, Backpackers: Accommodation gets tight so book early. Newcastle Tourism (above) can help you and here is a map and list of accomodation. Here are some directions to some of the places.
Serviced apartments and houses: These guys have been pretty helpful to TINA and have pictures of the properties on the site:
Friendly locals: Maybe you'll get lucky?
